I disagree with you—I think this essay is exceptionally well written! I feel Minnesotans are non-confrontational by nature. Many of us prefer to work in the mediums of sarcasm and passive aggression. But we’re really nice… to a point. When we see awful things happening to the state that we love with an undying passion, to our neighbors and friends who we love with that same passion even if we don’t know them by name, we stop being “nice”. We watch out for each other, and protect each other, and we don’t back down. We are a resilient people. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your recipes 💙🤍
